Lizeth Muñoz is our Hacia: Toward the University Project Manager and works as an adviser to high school freshmen and middle school students. She also oversees Hacia's tutoring program at Albuquerque High and is one of our workshop facilitators. Prior to joining Southwest Creations, Lizeth worked as a childcare assistant for Enlace Comunitario, and as a GED tutor for 3 years with the High School Equivalency Program and the Youth Development Institute.

Lizeth is originally from Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico and grew up in Albuquerque. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish.

It is a privilege to work with our community and be a part of a process that stimulates lifelong learning and personal development.

As a first-generation, Spanish-speaking immigrant to this country, I understand that navigating the education system comes with its challenges. I love having the opportunity to serve as a support for our families and work with our amazing team to fulfill a shared purpose.
